I don't mind 'real-life meanderings' unlike the assorted meldrews on this site. besides, I got helpful suggestions, as well as some nice thoughts for the afternoon daydream

I stayed at Fun Island, South Male atoll. The resort was OK, pretty basic accom but the reef was in a poor state. You could see baby sharks and stingrays very close to the shore line.
I got on quite well with one of the workers so he used to let me go catamaraning to the next reef. For free.
