Are you planning the package for Easter break? If you can get the ticket and book the package successfully let me know where and how you did it. I tried like hell but did not get single flight, now have left the hope that my agent will get back to me

I've been- its lovely, not much to do unless you are into water sports ( fnar). Only access when i went was Hk -Manila- Island near Boracay- speedboat to resort. It may have changed now... Quite a long journey as I recall, but well worth it. I would say you need to go for at least 4 days there, to get over the travelling.

mmmm I spent a week there long, long ago before there were any resorts. It was wonderful then but that was 20 years ago, haven't been back since.

HK- Manila. Then an internal flight to Roxas (?) and a 2 hour car journey to the port, then a one hour boat ride to Boracay. This is the way I went during the SARS year.
There is another airport that you may fly to, Kalipan (?) but there will also be a car journey tagged on to this before you reach the main port.
Or there are restricted scheduled flights to another domestic airport which is much closer to the port (but this may be Kalipan itself)
Basically it's an all day journey but if it's timed well, you'll be at the main port in time for a stunning sunset.

school is out in manila by mid march and it is summer now so it could be pretty hot and crowded there as it is a popular vacation spot. also holy week aka easter is definitely peak period because everything closes so boracay will be very busy. best time to go would be in december and january.
you can try flying via seair which will land you directly to caticlan via manila (an hour) , then you are a short banca ride to the most of the resorts ). seair is a smaller plane so unless you are okay with that then go with the bigger planes which land in kalibo which everyone is saying is a long trip.
recommend you look for lodging in beach station 1(seawind, friday etc), the hotels there are pricier but quieter and you have direct access to the beach.
how about going to palawan, el nido ? beautiful there !!!
