It's crept up on me again.. they celebrate here the same day as America but it's the UK Mother's day this Sunday. Make sure you get your cards/phone calls done to avoid upsetting Mummy.

No problem. It does peeve me off though that I can't get a nice card as they're not in the shops yet...and please don't say buy one in April/May (USA MOthers Day) and save it till next year as I can't remember where I put last years!!!

Took my Mum on Sunday for the champagne brunch at TOTTS, they flew home this morning so at least we got to have a brill lunch. My brothers can spoil her this weekend.

I agree with you Smog. Although the day is commercialized, it's a time to reflect how lucky you are if you still have your parents with you....especially the older you get.

Well we probably speak once every couple of weeks, but gotta give her a call on Mother's Day. Would normally send flowers & that too but I think she's on holiday in Mexico this time. Lucky so & so.

Thanks Cider Queen, I never know when it is normally. I usually call home of a weekend and last year I accidentally called my Mum on the right day.

Giant, were having a drink in IFC before we left for Black Eyed Peas' gig. And I was dead embarassed for saying "you are so rude being on the phone for so long" when I realised it's yer mum you were talking to.
