Has noone seen Spooks? This has to be one of the best action/drama series ever from the BBC. The first 4 series are out on DVD, no.5 later this year.

Some very memorable moments - the "deep fat fryer incident", Hugh Laurie's performance ("I bugger skinheads, madam") as an MI6 agent, and Jenny Agutter as a right devious b**ch. Plenty of terrorists, far-right nutters, sleazy govt ministers, and the odd cameo appearance from the Increment doing...er...what they do best. Lots of plot twists, but what's really good is that nobody is invincible - in fact, most of the main characters die or disappear as the show progresses.

The BBC page is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/spooks/

I know, an old thread but reckon it's still a valid topic and may be of interest to some people:

Criminal Minds, which follows a team of profilers from the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit. Some very sick and twisted people out there!

The Unit, which follows the lives of a top secret special forces team. Not all gung-ho and shooting scenes as the wives do play a role in assisting their men.

As a guy, it's weird to recommend "Desparate Housewives"

I also like "Rescue Me" from FX

"The Shield" is a must see

If you are into fashion, "Project Runway" is quite fun to watch as well

Have to agree the Shield is awesome.

Entourage is great too!

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than open ones mouth and remove all doubt.

Eureka, Farscape for new Sci-fi

nothing wrong with some Miami Vice either

Over There

Quite a hard hitting drama about everyday life in Iraq seen through the eyes of a few GI's and the families/loved ones that they left behind.

Well worth watching if this is your kiinda thing!

It takes a bit to get into. I like it cuz it reminds me of some of the folks I went to uni with and I can totally relate to the Seth and Ryan characters.
