yarks - I didn't get out much when I was there unfortunately- had more work thatn I thought I would
I would suggest hiring a cab for a few hours and drive around the city - bearing in mind the traffic is gash
Gateway to India is good for photo-ops
look out for the 'bean bags' graffiti

There isn't much for sight seeing, (Not that I have actually bothered to check it out when I was there). You could check out Marine Drive and then Gateway of India. You should rent out a car with a driver for the day. It's dirt cheap, you wouldn't have to pay more than HK$500.00 for the day.
If you are into clubbing then check out "Poison" which is in Bandra and "Enigma" which is in the J.W. Marriott in Juhu.
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than open ones mouth and remove all doubt.

It's not. There is a cover charge of Rupees 3K if you're not a guest at the hotel though. The couples thingy is basically to keep a balanced ratio. If you are walking in with 10 guys, there might be a problem getting in. However, if it's just one or two, then there shouldn't be a problem at all.
