By the way, I still have one $1000 coupon which needs to be spent on a Friday or Saturday on or before the 14th (i.e the next two weekends). Any suggestions?

I'm in lovely Dongguan so as usual can't come out to play on a Tuesday. However drinking a beer voucher at the weekend sounds excellent.

OK - bear in mind that this is Bulldog's so you have to go out for a fag.
I'll confirm tonight with Matthew that the voucher is valid on holidays. Any preference for Friday or Saturday? Mrs smog will be in town this weekend so need to start making some plans.

Why not? How old is she? One of the advantages of Bulldog's being non-smoking is that under-18s are allowed in.

As something of an expert on the Licensing Laws in at least 5 countries, I can state that any age is fine in an establishment as long as the minor does NOT sit directly at the bar and also does not order alcohol for its own consumption.
However, and here's the big one that you can not get done for, and not many know this. It is perfectly OK for a minor to drink alcohol in a licenced establishment if.......
The drink is ordered by an adult and that adult consents to their own minor drinking it.
I am aspiring to be just OK!
