looking for reliable movers from HK to Shanghai, most prized possession is an 18 y/o cat that just has to come with us, anyone know of movers that are trustworthy for that?

From Hong Kong to Shenzhen - can't you chuck it that far or stick it in a back pack?

Pet Import/Export
I would assume that it is easier to arrange pet-export from Australia, no?
If not, contact Ferndale Kennels & Cattery in Hong Kong at: http://www.ferndalekennels.com/
They have considerable expertise, and should be able to fill you in on all the details, or handle the whole process for you.

Avatars
We normally don't physically host the avatars, as it eats bandwidth and disk space, but rather use avatars that are already present on the Internet. You could upload your desired avatar from your PC to one of the many free picture hosting sites (such as photobucket.com), and send us the web address.
Shoot me a quick email (or PM, once you have more than 10 posts under yer belt) with the avatar's URL, and I'll sort it out for you...

Cheers!

Going back to the original request, a lot of people seem to recommend Ferndale Kennels for sorting out a lot of the admin stuff required.

If you google the name I'm sure you can phone and ask.

Presuming your pet has had the rabies vaccine and been micro-chipped recently, could you ask the airline if you could take her on as carry-on, since it's such a short flight?

PM = Private Messaging.
This option is automatically unlocked, once you hit 10+ posts...

(click on a person's handle, and you can send messages or email)
