Belive me I go there a lot. Most of Italy is fantastic, its like the worlds biggest open air museum. But Milan its just another city.

The real truth is where ever going in Italy, if you are looking for something different you will find it . It is enchanting, ugly, bizarre, lovely foods, pretty boys and girls, fashion, culture, history, thieves and lots and lost of tourists. So go with an open mid and do not try to compare it with your own country. Have an absolutely marvelous time!!!!!

I loved Italy. Cinque Terre was great and I have been back to Florence twice. I stayed at a place called Hotel Mario - Mario was spot on with his restaurant recommendations (good but not too expensive) and he took us on a fantastic day trip. Rome, for me, is a two day stay and then move on to see other areas of Italy.
