Awsome indeed! Can you purchase a flat for 1.7m?? HKD or USD?Or the flat is in Mainland China?
The real estate market has been so strong and only this past month has it begun to slow down a little.

I heard there is a problem with traffic or transportation. Have you found either to be a problem?

I have never been to Gold Coast. How do I get there? Is it accessible for MTR or train? Sounds like a fun place to visit!
I am new to HK so please educate me. [:I]

i live in this area since 1997 and never found that there is some specific traffic problem, but of course it takes some time to travel 40km if you are working hk side.

Seaview Gardens Mango? Flats are a little old but astounding value for money, and a free parking space thrown in! Did think about there myself but too far from HK side for work. Nice views though and a great place to live.

yes, it is Seaview Garden, the Carpark is included in purchase price.
As my Office is in Kwai Fong, travelling is no problem. I would say it is good value for money.

Superb value for money those places Mango. All the people I've spoken to who've bought places over there have no complains whatsoever.

Seaview Garden. So you get a great ocean view? Do you have to be on higher up apartments to get the view? Is it dangerous during typhoon seasons?

sure. all the buildings over 30 stories fall down in typhoon 3.
tbh - i remember my 30 story office building swaying during the t10 in 99 or 2000

I hate it when they sway. Most new residential buildings in HK are very tall. I don't want to live up 30 to 40 floors above the ground.
