When I have been asked who caused the riots and the killing in LA, my answer has been direct and simple: Who is to blame for the riots? The rioters are to blame. Who is to blame for the killings? The killers are to blame.

The most important job is not to be Governor, or First Lady in my case.

So Letterman and Leno would have topics each night, why else?

Hongkonger,

Intelligent Design theory is a way to get around teaching creationism which is illegal. It was (in Pennsylvania?) by one local school board - not all US schools (there is no national curriculum).

After a discussion about economics with Blair and French President Jacques Chirac, Bush allegedly turned to Blair and remarked,

"The problem with the French is that they don't have a word for 'entrepreneur.'"

Priceless.

'This test only has one question, but it's a very important one.

By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally.

The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision.

You are in Florida. Miami, to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster.

The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury. Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris.

You move closer.... the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's George W. Bush!

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under forever. You have two options--you can save the life of G.W. Bush or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

So here's the question... please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white? '

Bush, Chirac, a beautiful girl and an old woman are sitting in a train. The train suddenly goes thru a tunnel and .... it gets completely dark. Suddenly there is a kissing sound and then a slap! The train comes out of the tunnel. The woman and Chirac are sitting there looking perplexed. Bush is bent over holding his face which is red from an apparent slap.

The old woman is thinking : "Bush must have tried to kiss that girl and has been slapped. "

Bush is thinking : "Damn it, Chirac must have tried to kiss the girl, she thought it was me and slapped me."

The girl is thinking : "Bush must have moved to kiss me, and kissed the old woman instead and got slapped."

Chirac is thinking, "If this train goes through another tunnel, I could make another kissing sound and slap Bush again."

One night, George W. Bush is tossing restlessly in his White House bed.

He awakens to see George Washington standing by him. Bush asks him, "George, what is the best thing I can do to help the country?"

"Set an honest and honourable example, just as I did," Washington advises and then fades away.

The next night, Bush is astir again, and sees the ghost of Thomas Jefferson moving through the darkened bedroom. Bush calls out, "Tom, please! What is the best thing I can do to help the country?"

"Respect the Constitution, as I did," Jefferson advises and dims from sight.

The third night sleep is still not in the cards for Bush. He awakens to see the ghost of FDR hovering over his bed. Bush whispers, "Franklin, what is the best thing I can do for the country?"

"Help the less fortunate, just as I did" FDR replies and fades into the mist.

Bush isn't sleeping at all the fourth night, when he sees another figure moving in the shadows. It is the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. Bush pleads, "Abe, what is the best thing I can do right now to help the country?"

Lincoln replies, "Go see a play."
