when entering china most of us get a stamp in our passports
in the chop is a code for which border crossing you took, anyone know a list of these codes?
a random few: UAXP, DLEX, KADL, L6NU
been searching for it for a while now, can't find any reference site

I always thought they were specific codes for the port of entry. I've noticed when you check in hotels they record the detail of the visa chop not just the visa itself.

Not with me they don't, and I must have stayed in scores of hotels in China. A flash of the HKID card usually does it.
