Today is a day for celebration, no matter what your religion or your culture. Learn to celebrate today: celebrate the fact that you are alive, that you are breathing, that you have friends, family, angels and spirit guides in your life.

You will find compassion for others by walking a mile in their moccasins. You will find peace by walking in your own.

Well, true I guess. But sometimes an non-consensual exterior feel is possible (just ask Britney).

Goals can be a powerful ally in transforming our lives. Our whole life has been molded by the goals we have had in the past. Some goals we have reached, and others we haven't. It's my belief that reaching your goal is not as important as who you become in the process of pursuing it.

Happiness adds and multiplies, as we divide it with others.
A. Nielsen

Happiness comes of the capacity to feel deeply, to enjoy simply, to think freely, to risk life, to be needed. which give happiness. Thomas Jefferson

Happiness is taking a day off on a cold, wet day. The Crone

What better words than these Chinese New Year words during Chinese New Year!

(By the way, the translator in 'money talks - origins' in the postmagazine got it wrong)

Gung Hey, means Congratulations! Congratulations and not Wish.

So!

Gung Hey Nay(you) having Good Health!
Gung hey Nay having Abudance!
Gung Ney Nay having Love!

It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not.

(growing a honey dew melon at the mo..., this is to remind me )

Dr. Oz says your stomach's capacity is the size of a melon. If that is the size of an adult male stomachs, then females and children's must be smaller.

To prevent over eating, look at the food on your plate. Imagine it rolled into a round ball, if it is bigger than the size of an orange, common sense tells us that your stomach will have difficulty processing it into healthy nutrients.

Poet Sylvia Plath said she wasn't much impressed with the "photographic mind which paradoxically tells the truth, but the worthless truth, about the world." What she really loved was the "synthesizing spirit, that 'shaping' force, which prolifically sprouts and makes up its own worlds with more inventiveness than God."

Beware the barrenness of a busy life.
- Socrates

Most of us live as though the future will deliver all the time we need to fulfill our goals and dreams, and as a result, we end up frittering countless hours away. People who are deeply fulfilled and highly successful must have already learned this lesson well, for instead of wasting time on inconsequential or ultimately pointless activities, they focus each day on the relationships and endeavors that hold the most value and meaning for them.

- Julia Melges-Brenner, editor of Kajama
