If all the great artists, inventors, mystics, educators, and geniuses of history waited for the world to understand, accept, and be ready for them, we would still be in the Stone Age.

You must lose someone before you lose them before you can truly love them.

Quit worrying about whether or not you are in the band, and just play your instrument.

...had been walking through the desert for days, their water supply had run out, and they were on the brink of collapse.
And then suddenly they came upon a market place, spread out over the desert. Rows of colourful stalls, with their banners flapping in the breeze.
They were delighted. Filled with an extra surge of energy, they ran down the dune to the market. Arriving at the first stall, the begged the stall-holder for water.
"I'm sorry," says the stall-holder, "all I have are these delicious puddings made from jelly and sponge and with a cream topping sprinkled with hundreds and thousands."
Not to be deterred, they moved on to the next stall, pleading for water. "Sorry, but I only have these bowls of pudding, made from jelly and sponge," says the man behind the counter.
In fact, every stall was selling exactly the same thing, and finally, one of the stall-holders takes pity on them, and tells them about an oasis not far away, so they leave the market, and head for the oasis.
As they're leaving, AKA said unto Crone "that was strange"
To which she replied: "Yes, it was a trifle bazaar."

My mother married 3 times and in between, she had lots of suitors. One of them was a married man and he had an extremely beautiful wife. My mother told me about this, I was 9 I remember. She emphasized that this man's wife was beautiful. Then I asked her, why then would he want to chase my mum. She said that he said:
You may own a beautiful flower vase, but when you look at it for too long, you get bored.

When I was a girl of 16 I fell in love with the most handsome boy at school. I hung around him at every chance I got hoping one day he would notice me. That magical day finally arrived, he saw me, smiled and yes he became my boyfriend, I was the luckiest girl in the world. He came around my house after school all the time until one day he met my neighbor. Who was she? A grown woman in her 30s, married with children, and very very beautiful. Other neighbors usually described her as sexy instead though. So he stopped talking to me and I eventually found out why when I saw them kissing in front of a store.
It took me a long time to learn that
YOU GOTTA GRAB THEM YOUNG.
