So, I found my new flat (little joint in CB) and the place is decorated like some old ladies house. Light blue birdies and yellow flowers. ack! I figure if I change the curtains and get a sweet bed spread it will be alright. I don't want to spend too much moolah but I want a very attention getting/ smooth/ sexy spread. Anyone know where I can get such a thing? I want to go shopping today so any hints will be appreciated.
At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass. The refill contained the antidote.

I know I'll get shot down in flames for suggesting Ikea but wtf, eh. Was there a couple of weeks ago and they are getting their new 07/08 stuff in, and they have funky satin spreads, warm snuggle throws, lots of pillows in diff colours etc. Cheap, cheerful and not nasty at all.
Also, G.O.D maybe ~ haven't been there for a long time, but they have nice HK-nostalgia/retro- inspired designs on their fabrics and accessories. There's a big one in Causeway Bay, sort of behind Times Square.

as i dont know whats the meaning of CB ill give you a hint where to get good spreads etc for your new flat, in LCRFD
nice stuff there, though pricey

Lola- Thanks! I will for sure check those out. I don't care if it is IKEA as long as I like what it looks like it could come from 7-11 :D I tried to look at IKEA online but I couldn't look at their products much. meh I will just stop by and see.

How about the markets? Any deals to be had there or is it just cheap sh*t?

My original place in CB didn't work out but I found an even better place in Wan Chai. It is this beautiful brand new apartment. I absolutely love it. This place doesn't come with curtain so I will actually have to 'sort out my curtains' as some might say.

I often get Indian throws as bed threads. They can be as sexy as you want.
There's a couple of shops like this in Central and one in Stanley market.
