am looking for a special kind of paper, which is white, but has a top layer of a very fine "mesh" , the mesh feels plasticy to me.

what quilters do, they put it in a printer, then they carefully remove that thin layer mesh with the printed side and lay it on the cloth, i.e. transfering the pattern. they can then stitch etc, and later they just rip the mesh in between out (without damaging the work done)

does anyone know what this paper is called, and where i can get it?

and for those funny ones, who undoubtfully cant leave it to comment, no i am not busy quilting myself a c**k warmer for the chilly season!

KT: I think the stuff you're asking about is better known as WonderUnder, which is made by Pellon. I reckon you could probably find it in Spotlight in the new huge shopping centre in Kowloon Bay called Megabox or any of those old style haberdasheries in Mongkok or Shamshuipo. I'm sure there are places like this on HK island side but not sure.
