Would be grateful for suggestions of where to find good property rental listings online for Disco-Bay....
Have had a look around but seem to find only limited (and not such good) listings...Thanks.

Thanks Smog - had a look there - I found that each time I looked at a listing (e.g. 1088 Sq ft, Disco Bay) - the photo's were of the same aptmt for different listings. Seems most link to agencies also. Would be great if I could find owner direct

On with the hunt

There aren't too many owners direct listings, but you could try DB forum, 'the dark side'asiaxp, the other dark side-Geoxp, facebook and craigslist.

NI

Because living in DB will never give you a feeling that you are in Hong Kong. Your have to live your life according Ferry schedule. Dogs everywhere. The Management try to control everything. No Taxis allowed. No night life.

Yes, GC is much better in all aspects.

Hi Adfundum - had a look at TC a few times - Carrib Coast aptmts are quite nice...about 1,200 sq ft for around 12k/month...pretty reasonable!

Hi Hannibal - I've lived in DB most of my 26 yrs in HKG (with unwise stints in Wanchai for some years) - DB is good for me my older son will attend the new ESF school there after finishing in a Tung Chung kindie

....Still, I totally agree with your last post...Dogs/Management - same thing

Yup, and great facilities in the clubhouse for the kiddies as well...
There's a few of your old mates (Ex-Db-ites) living in the neighbourhood, including yours truly, so you won't be too lonely on Saturdays... LOL

Might pop back through the tunnel and have a gander over the weeked....easy to get service from the agencies...

Just walk towards the Aviator, take a quick, sly, sidewards glance at the agency window listings......and get mobbed by hopeful property agents
