Does anyone know of one who also is proactive, (suggests alternative dates, places routing etc.) and can give an answer on the phone as to availabilty in real time.

Thanks in advance !

Forgot to add that they need to be able to handle a large volume of vacation bookings.

SG,

Do you really think that was a good idea? I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone that I wanted to keep on good terms with to Beer Guy.

There really is not thing as a full service travel agent in HK - they all work on an execution only basis. They will help you book flights but dont expect much proactive help on hotels etc.

Personally i find it much easier to do it myself using the likes of Zuji, cathaypacific.com and the direct hotel websites. Also we have found that travel agents do not have access to full availabilily.

The agent I use, referred by Shazza, is very good. She has actually given me a lot more information and suggestions than I've asked for. (Prolly knows I don't need much persuasion to book extra flights to some remote villages).

Just curious. Why does the agent have to be a NATIVE English speaker?

HAHA smart response. :D

At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass. The refill contained the antidote.
