Dring Xmas I would like to spend a little more than a week there. Check out colonial buildings, taste Malay food in Georgetown and then take the ferry to Langkawi for total relaxation. I have taken a look at hotels on the Net, and they are very very expensive, prices increase 4-5 times for Christmas.
Has anybody got any hotel/resort to recommend? Ideally a hotel in the centre of Georgetown and a quiet beach resort in Langkawi. Thanks a lot!
