Conduit Road is only really good if you put high value on peace and quiet. There are no buses up there and no shops. It only really works if you are close to the escalator and want to commute up and down that to Central.

onduit road is FAR FAR from a "peace and quiet" place... defo not at the esclator area.
lots of construction and much traffic.

getting a texi or a place on MiniBus in the morning =mission impossible

I think it is best for me to Live where the night life is and away from work. I have just come from Melbourne and have been driving 45 min in peak hour traffic. to and from work each day. Also, the closer I am to the night life the more likely i am to go out rather than stay home.

Any of the 3 you picked are not "far" from the night life by any stretch of the imagination. All within a 10-15min cab ride.

If money is no object, I'd just pick one you like most.

ah, but isnt it better to live a bit far from tempation...

temptation to spend...
temptation to drink...
temptation to invite somebody over who you totally don't want to see in your apartment come morning...

I guess these things are all relative. It's quieter than anywhere else in the mid-levels, particularly if you have a place on the uphill side.

'Night Life' in HK - on the island side or the Darkside (Kowloon) is rarely much more than 10 min walk or taxi away. Somepeople would suggest that living too close to Nightlife in HK can severley effect your career!

You used to speak the truth.
But now you're clever.

I tend to avoid MTR no matter where I live. It's one of the most dreadful ways to travel.

MTR is the only transportation that took 45min to get to work. Otherwise it's more than an hour. I don't like MTR during rush hours, unless I need to be in somewhere in a hurry.
