Just wondering what people would recommend are must do things while in HK?
I've heard that the Water Park is a good place to visit, but that Disney Land isn't too great. Shopping is on the list of course, as is the light show.
Travelling-wise, Macau has been recommended to me.

Visit the Temple of the 10,000 Buddhas in Shatin.

10,000 Buddha statues line the walls of the Temple

The Main Hall of the Temple

The Red Pagoda

The Buddha with a thousand arms
(These are just a few of the highlights. There's much more. You have to go see for yourself)

You're right about Disneyland, I think Ocean Park is far better, for the time being anyhow. I've never heard of the Water Park myself so can't comment.
Best thing to do is check out the links above and ignore everything that potpotato says as she's the local troll.

There is the Wetlands Park - took my kids to it - I'd say it was good - if you've lived all your life in a tower block. Being brought up in the country I found it 'quaint'.
You used to speak the truth. But now you're clever.
