Mrs smog and I were hoping to be there, but I have, unusually, had a load of work dumped on me which may make it hard. I know that flyingchair is also in his first week in the new job so he may struggle also. What about other people?

I'll be there around 8:15, so chair if you wouldn't mind ordering me a K & DC (if you get there before HH finishes of course)
I believe Mrs Smog will be there also around 8pm, or so she said earlier today.

Well the BB's (flyingchair, Pomette, smog, Mrs smog, Pomette's ex-flatmate, and HALO's friend who can't get registration here to work) came joint second, one point behind "Tomato Soup". There were one or two debated answers, but c'est la vie. I certainly can't find a clear answer on the colour of the belt for the 10th level of karate. Wiki does support our assertion that a young otter is a cub not a kitten.

10th Kyu in Karate (the first beginner's level) is as far as I know a white belt. What did they say at the quiz?

Red or black. White is fairly clearly the answer for judo, but there seem to be many different varieties and organising bodies for karate...
