I'm heartily sick of whenever there is any incident - forest fire, crash, boat sinks etc we have to be told that it isn't linked to a terror attack. They just love keeping the population scared even when there isn't a mad arsed terrorist behind some old dodder tripping over in the high street and reminding us because of their policies and their inability to do anything constructive we are still treated like f**king nursery kids when we want to get on a plane or put up with moronic security checks etc. So even when it's an accident (probably scared the s**t out of the people involved in it anyway) we have to be reminded that it just might have been a terrorist involved. Fox Spews recently suggested that the fires in California could have been a terrorist attack. Fire in London yesterday - not linked to terror. This post? Not linked to terror but certainly linked to f**king irritation.

too true......and equally p**s annoying is mention of 911 or in a post 911 world .....hell we as kids always got tired of mums stories of life during the great depression....mum why was it great ????

Interestingly last week I counted 13 stories regarding terrorist attacks around the world in the newspaper in just one day, Huh!

loved that phrase, as to me mam the "last war" ended in '45, although there has been a constant stream of wars for the past 120 years non-stop

not to my mam it wasn't....
last war was when a barrage balloon worked it's way loose and was chased over the back gardens of our street by 2 AR Wardens, torchlights on and alerting Jerry to the very whereabouts of our back garden, upon which they decided to drop one of their finest bombs causing all kinds of damage to my grandad's vegetable patch, as well as shrapnel taking lumps out of the shed and the Anderson shelter

LT, maybe its because so many of these actions are linked to terrorists (mulims) that the word is continually brought up.....just a thought.....
