An act of extreme profanity, or just gross naivety?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/worldnews.html?in_article_id=496460&in_page_id=1811

.......also what will happen to the Teddy Bear? Stoned perhaps?

They're all a bunch of idiots.

If she'd done a shred of research about Islam or the place she was now living, this would never have happened. The fact that it caused such offence is also a poor reflection on the country and the practitioners of the faith.

The worlds mad - too much outcry and indignation over things that don't matter whilst no one does s**t about things that do matter.

So it's OK to call a person Mohammed but not a toy. Crikey etc.

He does say 'I love the thought of coming over you'.

'Coming home to...'

'Oh - that's kind of killed the song for me'.

I thought this was more interesting:

Volunteers wanted to give migrants a 'great big hug' of welcome
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=496627&in_page_id=1770

"Those wanting to help improve society should volunteer to mentor a migrant, it was suggested yesterday.

Mentors could teach newly-arrived immigrants to speak English and to apply for jobs, according to the report of a review ordered by Gordon Brown.

They could help individuals and familes adjust to the subtleties of life in Britain and show them around their new neighbourhoods...."

Maybe frisk them for bombs at the same time?

There are some huge beaches down in Norfolk where we didn't see another soul for miles in other direction... Loadsa space there for refugee tents etc.

I was going to say that, and btw, if some Mohammed commit a crime, does he require to change his f**king name too in order not to insult their prophet?

Some men were borned dicks.

I dunno. Not many people name their dogs "Jesus" for the same reason, I suppose. But not that anyone would get flogged for it these days. But maybe a few hundred years ago, one would have been burnt at the stake for being a heretic.

And how long before the rate of exit exceeds the rate of entry? It is a strange phenomenon that the UK seems to be becoming a sort of staging post: an ever-increasing number of people want out after they have lived there for a while. Obviously the place serves some purpose, but it's rather sad that this is what what was once the world's greatest country has come to.

(*) And anyone who manages to parse that overly-convoluted last sentence passes the English language part of the citizenship test!

Not at all. But I'm old enough to remember atlases showing almost half (*) the Earth's land area coloured red.

(*) Well OK, a slight exaggeration, but a lot of it anyway.

Well even Jesus name wasn't Jesus was it - he would have been the only Latin named child in f**kin' Nazareth if that was the case - and why would you saddle a poor dog with that name anyway - his mates would laugh at him.

He does say 'I love the thought of coming over you'.

'Coming home to...'
