It's time to put up the xmas tree soon and I'm thinking about getting a real one this year for the first time in my life. Any suggestion where is the best place to get? Flower market? and how much will it cost for a 6ft tall one?

I've used the artificial one for the last 8 years, it's time to have a change. Ikea one seems very affordable, I think I will get the 2M one, nice and big. (Mumph don't hit me)

IKEA! Set your legs afire for even thinking that.

Flower market in Mong kok was selling 7-8 ft ones for $1000 - $1200 each. (Sorry Shazza, when i called you I was at the first shop where they only had scronny ones thus they were cheaper than the others.)

I think I may have to fork out for a better tree this year. The grass patch outside the apartment block is looking a bit bare at the mo - Kids had trouble finding the tree amongst the presents last year!

to be, or not to be, what was the question?

Right, Frenchie saw a 6ft tall one in the 24 hrs Wellcome in CWB, costs $600, similar to Ikea price although they don't have stock but the next container doesn't seem to be able to make it before Xmas like, how daft is it to have the trees arriving on Xmas eve? I hope those from Wellcome are nice or the last resource will be flower market...

According to the most recent copy of The List, their top 3 christmas tree suppliers are:

1) Anglo Chinese Florist (20 Wellington St., Central. Tel: 2552 1680) www.anglochinese.com
They're selling Noble and Douglas fir trees & are charging from $680 for a 4-5 foot tree. You have to become a member though to order.

2) Sophie's Trees (42E Ha Pu Shan, Ma On Shan, NT. Tel: 2647 8008) www.sophieshk.com

3) P&F Garden (50 Shui Choi Tin Village, Victoria Rd., Pokfulam. Tel: 2812 0948) Prices include delivery & a tree stand.

Last year I saw a advert @ dollarsaver regarding about X'mas Tree. Please google HK and X'mas tree and check... you might find some good quality real trees... good luck!
Kiss,
Britney
Btw, my bedroom is too small... otherwise I will buy a Christmas tree too... and invite many friends buy me X'mas presents...
all my presents will put it under the tree... after boxing day .. I will open... it's so romantic and warm... of course... if I were you, married with kids, have husband... the Christmas tree would be more meaningful...
Merry Christmas...!
