Hey, I was reading through some old Time Magazines and came across this article:

I think people took the chance to do whatever they could in HKG (whether they were sandwich delivery boys/gals or skilled professionals)... I don't think it was a F I L T H situation - it was easy for UK ppt holders to work in HKG, and get a bit of overseas experience - - - - - or escape from the UK in general for a while)...
to be, or not to be, what was the question?

I always thought the "joke" in this description was on Hong Kong
