Does anyone have children at the Kowloon Junior PS? Just wondering what it is like. We will be zoned for this school.
Hmmmm Now is it me or the wife that wrote this message?
Gotta keep you guessing.

My son went to Kowloon Junior school for P1 through P6 and loved it. Someone mentioned in another thread that there are not too many "western" children at KJS, and that is a valid point. My son was one of the only white students in the whole school; HOWEVER, at that time he was at the Rose Street campus for all six years. There were more white students at the Perth Street campus, and now that the two campuses have been combined (P1 to P3 at Perth, P4 to P6 at Rose), I assume the student body is more international. IN ANY CASE, my son loved KJS and made many very close friends there. They are all still friends now that they are in secondary school. Skin colour is not important. ATTITUDE and CHARACTER are important, and the kids at KJS (who then go on to the secondary school King George V [KGV]) have great attitudes and fantastic character.

Thanks for the feedback. That's exactly what I was after. I agree that it doesn't matter what colour skin you have but how you behave and treat other people. My daughter has several non Western friends I just wasn't sure how children cope when they are the "odd one out".

They go psycho - borrow grandad's assault machine cannon and shoot everyone. Often leaving an amusing video to detail how sad and pathetic they were.
You used to speak the truth. But now you're clever.
