I don't know if any of you have ever been in a group house, male and female occupants, where the females seem to start to synchronise their cyles, then the men join in, but naturally get PMS worse than any female.
Well here is some fast breaking news ... it is not just a young man phenomenum. Older men are just as susceptible to the old hormone imbalance - leading to the "Irritable Male" syndrome. Do you recognise anyone in this description?

I think that the boys don't understand. Their grumpiness does not have a monthly cycle - it just builds and builds and builds until they explode. Messy body parts everywhere! Out with the hate and in with the love boys.
I think that the lowering testoserone levels can also be affected by how often they peruse the Women's only forum! Come on boys - spice up the Men's only forum and we can work on increasing our testosterone!

Speaking of testosterone...this is going to come out all nasty ,and I don't mean it to be ,but have Chinese men got on average as much tt as Westerner men?? Seriously ..they have soft bodies ,wear their dacks up around their armpits ,no body hair ,a bit 'sooky.'soft voices,live with their Mums etc ..make really nice friends but sexual magnetism zero ..for me anyway...obviously not all ...of those who go to my gym some look a bit better, and sure ,they are slimmer than Western guys often...?
now all yell at me

I thought the same when I saw french (British and other European) men - they're so skinny and don't have bulging muscles unless they are construction or manual workers. Then I realised that it is Americans, now also Aussies, who have those body-building crazes that locals here are picking up and promoting over the media, and in fact, the pitch of those toned, honed and cosmetised men appear to be pitching to the gay population and not women as they seem to be competing for attention based on looks rather than ability, the traditional distinguishing selection criteria of the sexes.
Testosterone levels do vary by geographical region and hence by racial/ethnic group. This makes sense as all of us are combinations of female and male hormones.
Culture and genetic/regional variation accounts for differences among Chinese. Go north or into the worker/farmer sectors, and see the differences. Southern and northern Chinese are very much different physically and there is no homogeneous Han race, the result of climate, diet, mixing and genetic adaptation over time.

well that is all very interesting ,Sabi ....of course occupational differences affect physique but I don't mean that bodybuilding is the epitome of attractiveness...I am referring to masculinity in what I guess,alas,yes, is a Western sense, firm handshake ,low pitched voice ,firm (not rippling ,necessarily) body ,body hair,a more well 'macho ' aura overall .And no soft toys.soft living in Hk has left its mark and round soft faces on teenage boys and incipient breasts may be high hormone Western diet related, paradoxically...
yep those northern farm boys are probably more my type ...oh dear...anyway believe me I am no oil painting,and am not in the market anyway...observation only!!

I think that the waistband at nipple level is probably just a desire to have some ongoing stimulation - gotta chafe by the end of the day! Skinny hairless bodies are probably an evolutionary way to deal with the heat and humidity.

The smaller the body the greater surface area to volume ratio - to get rid of the heat? But lots of China is very cold. And lots of Africans are very big. So I guess that just shows that humans sometimes override evolutionary traits by using their intelligence - eg inventing airconditioning, lol. Some people seem to build muscle more easily than others too. Have no idea why.
sws - a female friend told me that that is why men prefer to stand in bars, at parties etc. She said, you look, once they stand up, the first thing they do is "adjust" the underwear. Though in these days of boxer shorts, maybe it is not so much an issue. [:x)]
