It's on English on my TV. Have you tried pressing your Fung Shui button or giving it a twist?

You used to speak the truth.
But now you're clever.

I don't think Paps has got the hang of things like bilingual Nicam broadcasts... (but then again isn't that what the monkey is for?)

Which PP was it?

Nicam is basically biliingual (stereo) audio transmissions; here in HK, English and Canto. You can select which feed (i.e. language) you want using yer remote. It's only been around for over 15 years...

Depends on your remote, but I'd guess it would be something like "audio" or "audio selection" or some such technijargon s**te. Ask your monkey; he should know.

I suspect in HK it goes to Canto by default and seeing as you is in new crib with new telly set-up etc, that might explain why is all in Canto for the moment until you change it yourself.

Paps, not all programmes are broadcasted in NICAM.

Now has a similar arrangement for some of the channels, particularly the sports channels. On Pearl most of the broadcasts are monolingual so you'll only notice that you have your TV set to the wrong Nicam channel for the occasional bilingual programmes (there's an announcement and logo (sort of two stylised figures rotating around a triangle)).
