Some columnist was on about this in SCMP last week. Going on that the warnings are daft - advising parental discretion before Dr. Who or advising of bad language - which is beeped out anyway - before Letterman.

But it's even more dumb than that if you take not putting warnings before trailers for such as Nip & Tuck. Local channels can't get the concept of a 'teaser' so they usually show the key points of the programme to be screened so you really don't need to watch the show anyway but a case to illustrate is the next series of Nip n Tuck - the trailer for which is rather suggestive. I'm not too bothered cos I'd explain it to th' kids anyway but it seems fairly pointless to put a warning before Dr Who shown late at night but not before a trailer shown at prime time for a show that typically airs at 10.30.

Personally, I'd like to see health warnings before programmes such as 'Dolce Vita' and 'Racing to Win' like 'This programme may cause you extreme annoyance. If you suffer from high blood pressure please switch off now.' and 'This programme may send you into coma.' respectively.

I noticed that the camp guy mentioned his girlfriend a few episodes ago.

Wonder why anyone would think he was gay?

I'd like to see the presenters of 'Dolce Vita' and 'Racing to Win' do one of those life swap reality shows for a month.
