To welcome both the month of February (that is possibly the dreariest in the year) and my visit to HK, I say we have lunch on Friday 1st Feb somewhere in Central or Wanchai. Who's in and where shall we go?

I'm in, work permitting. Wanchai is more convenient for me but I can probably do Central also. If we only have a few people how about The Cannyman? Or if we have more then Bulldog's Wanchai?

Count me in please. We should get together. Last time saw Jesswill would be long long time ago. Should be the bar in Sheung Wan and I remember one of your friends should be called Matthew. I gave him a Stunning Chinese Name. Not sure he would take it or not... Wow!

Actually, having said that, it's easier for me to do Central than it is for Mrs smog to do Wanchai (her lunchtime is quite rigid) so if she's up for it (I'll confirm later) then maybe somewhere over that way?

He he he! I remember that time in Sheung Wan with Matthew  I think he kept the name. He's back in the US now
As I'm not familiar anymore with a lot of places in Central (or Wanchai for that matter) any suggestions? Last time we did lunch in Central it was at that Pelican pub that wasn't bad but I don't know if that still exists (or if it's any good) and last time in Wanchai was Delaney's

It's the disruption of the conversation here that bugs me - as you say, in person she's too shy to say anything anyway.
Mrs smog is by no means a definite.
And it wouldn't take much to persuade me to take the afternoon off.

Britney, read the posts above, people are saying Central or Wanchai, since when has TST been near ?
(and before anyone says, its getting nearer by the year if we keep up with the reclamation !!!)
