I will be working in Central, is it possible to get a nice modern and clean apartment at 15K/mth on hk island? One that's near a gym and the MTR. I see so many two bedroom apartments that's really for one person. Is it difficult to find a one-bedroom at 600 sqft?

600sqf ? that's almost a 3 bedroom flat no ?
It's hard hitting and across two legs. No, it's not Craig Bellamy's golf club, it's the champions league semi-finals

Yes, it is possible. You might have to be a bit flexible on the square footage - or be willing to climb the stairs.

For 15K? I don't think so. You can get plenty of flats with lifts for that amount.

Ah, yes, you can get a building with a llft in that range. You will generally get a bigger flat in an older building - she asked for $600 square feet. As for modern, I live in a walk up and my flat has been renovated quite nicely. I do pay less than $15000 though.
