Depends on the industry - if finance, etc., you can try Pui Chan Gardiner (Mrs) at Akamai Financial Markets - their website is here:

http://www.akamaifinancial.com/company.html

If not - then what industry u looking at?

to be, or not to be, what was the question?

yarkey - you want normal search firms not head hunters.

jobsDB.com would be a good place to start - not for the jobs themselves but to see which search firms are posting positions in yr sector.

There's pro21.com (or something like that)...they are a general search firm. But I hated dealing with them. Personally, I think they are a bunch of tossers with their heads firmly wedged up their good-for-nothing arseholes. Complete timewasters. But don't let that put you off.

Bloke,

A headhunter is a "headhunter" regardless if you are a processing center and work on contingency basis (i.e. you only get paid if you usefully place someone on the job and complete their probation period) or on a retainer basis where a firm hire a headhunter, pay him a fee (i.e. retainer) to work on a search for them, so basically they get paid some $$ upfront before they commence their hunt and get the remainder on successful completionm. –They don't usually except CVs via emails as they know who and what people do on the mkt-- These retainer firms are usually known as “Executive Search Firms” as they place very senior people and provide mkt intelligence to whoever pay for it.

If someone like "Yarkat" is looking for a job then they still have the option of contacting a “headhunter” firm such as Roberts Walter, Michael Page, Hudson,….. These guys will be happy to receive your resume and help place you.

Pro21 target low to mid range placements, most of them on the backor mid office. My previous employer used them on a contingency basis for back office roles.

Robert walters, Michael page etc are normal everyday search firms and work for both employees as well as employers. Firms like Korn Ferry, Egon Zender, Russell Reynolds are headhunters and only undertake searches for employers - thats why lots pf people misuse the term 'headhunter'.
