So what exactly are these kids debating on?

I recall one kid saying it is wrong for the computer engineer to steal information from Edison's computer. Well, I don't think the guy has been convicted yet. He has been arrested and charged but until there is conviction he has stolen jack s**t.

The opposition in such a debate would surely be saying just what you said. Is it stolen if he isn't convicted? Does a crime only exist if someone is convicted of it? If Edison hasn't reported it stolen, can it be stolen? Who actually released the pictures? and blah de blah blah.

Lots of questions that students could discuss. If you wait for all the facts, this forum would not exist!

100 police plus extra security guards for this little twerps press conference?? A little bit of HK overkill is'nt it?

I see the retribution discussed earlier has come in the form of $500,000 to chop off a hand. Personally I would aim lower, but the target may be classified as too small.

This is probably the first real 'police' work some of them have ever had to do. Theres only so may times you can stand on the corner of LKF of a Fridee night and be content in your job, eh?
( or better still, sitting on your motorbike on a Wednesday night in happy Valley, stopping people from going the wrong way. ). I'm glad I'm not in the HK police, i don't think i could take the stress.
