As like many, I'm sure, our rent has gone up and we have to move and can't find anywhere we like so we are moving into short term accommodation (3 months) which also means we have to put our stuff in storage.
This is fine but I am worried about the humidity etc and how it will affect our things.
I would like some advice on storing clothes, books/photo albums etc
Is Vacpac best for clothes...
Would the books etc be better in cardboard boxes or the plastic type from Japan Home Centre.....
Any other tips would be great...
Thanks

I store winter clothes in the fabric zip up boxes from Ikea (in the fabric wardrobe and storage range) and then buy those dehumidifying sachets from Japan home store and put those amongst my clothes

I put most of our stuff into storage for 6 months after a temporary downsize to a studio and it was all fine... we used the store house which has controlled temp and dehumidifying in the building
