Blimey. "18 US hit singles and 30 UK Top 30 tunes" I can only remember "Bad Boys, "Hungry Like a Wolf", "Rio", "Save a Prayer" and, of course, the video for "Girls on Film".

Pop TV Arena : the 10,000 capacity venue, situated in West Kowloon, will open in January 2008 with a series of concerts by China's superstar artist, Jackie Cheung commencing on January 25th, 2008.

OK so this POP TV ARena is where the old outdoor drive cinema used to be... same place where Kanye West and our favourite Edison Chun played

Bombed in the UK, even though it was written by Ben elton etc.
Anyway, I will probably go , having classed myself as a desperate concert go-er of HK. If I've been to Mama Mia, Les Mis and plenty of other s**te I would never have paid to see in the UK, then I may aswell, really. At least I can sing along to the songs.

We Will Rock You has been going for 5 years now in London...wow!!! Somehow I canna get excited about nobody to do with Queen singing and cavorting to Queen songs... but if someone goes and gives it a huge thumbs up I might be interested

"Bombed" as in "it's played every night at the Dominion Theatre for the last 6 years and is still taking bookings 6 months into the future"?

Yes the critics hated it almost without exception, but Mrs smog & I just wasted two hours of our Sunday watching some rubbish that critics everywhere said was wonderful.
