at least he was doing something wrong.
If I remember well, more recent than this case, in London, UK, uniformed coppers simply shot an innocent immigrant in the BACK, several times, just because he was hoping to make the tube ...

Yes Paps, I wish we had a police state where there are no laws and people are routinely shot dead for financial crimes or imprisoned forever for political ones.

lodging and food for life...? You must be taking the p**s.

In Oz he'd be out in 6 months with good behaviour.

In the US he'd sue for wrongful imprissonment and then appear on Oprah, before writing a book and running for President. Set for life.

It seemed the world was divided into good and bad people. The good ones slept better... while the bad ones seemed to enjoy the waking hours more.
