Demands of Kidnapper & Chinese Release Negotiations

'I have 3 demands or I'll kill the boy!'
Negotiators assess the situation from next door.

Head Negotiator dispatched

Negotiations begin

Negotiations concluded

In this country, we would block off the street, take 12 hours to talk him out of it, spend $5 million giving him a fair trial, and pay his food and lodging for life.

at least he was doing something wrong. If I remember well, more recent than this case, in London, UK, uniformed coppers simply shot an innocent immigrant in the BACK, several times, just because he was hoping to make the tube ...

Chinese cops are just rock hard. No need for protective gear, or safety harness. Just climb outta window and shoot.

Yes Paps, I wish we had a police state where there are no laws and people are routinely shot dead for financial crimes or imprisoned forever for political ones.

lodging and food for life...? You must be taking the p**s.
In Oz he'd be out in 6 months with good behaviour.
In the US he'd sue for wrongful imprissonment and then appear on Oprah, before writing a book and running for President. Set for life.

What drives a man to such desperate actions? Poverty. Very sad for everyone involved.
