Can anyone give advice on how to take care of sunflowers? I researched the internet and have watered them accordingly, but they don't seem to be doing too well.
Please help?

Are you growing them in pots or in open ground? As they are tall plants, they don't do too well in a container unless you get yourself the massive clay pots that are 2 feet in diameter. And have you mixed in slow-release fertiliser with the compost?

doodler, they are currently in small pots and yes i have done the latter. These are smaller versions but I think you're right, I will have to transplant them into bigger pots...

Sunflowers can grow to over 8 feet tall! We had a neighbor that used to grow them. They need a lot of sunshine, don't they? That is probably your problem.

Even the 'minature' ones grow to about 2 feet, so yes, you'll need a bigger pot.
