Talked to a girl yesterday about her school interview. She is going into S1, hopefully.
Anyway, I thought a couple of the questions a bit odd for her age.
Q.1. When you have a fight with your parents, what happens?
Q.2. Who should be the next chief executive of Hong Kong?
Q.3. Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?
Are these typical of questions asked at that age in Hong Kong?

Ahh - I remember going into S1 at Island School all those years ago - similar questions then too...
A.1. They beat me
A.2. (it was Governor in those days) - - Don't they decide that back home in Blighty?
A.3. Not yet, but I hope to obtain a few of these (girlfriends) during my next 7 years here at I.S.
I think these questions are normal for getting an idea of home situation, social awareness, etc.
to be, or not to be, what was the question?

In that case yes i agree they are strange questions for an 11 year old - especially the last one !
But having said that a recent study in the UK indicated that most people think that childhood ends when you reach 11.
