I know that there are quite a few Eng. teachers here. Just out of curiosity, is anyone familiar with the Oxford Seminars TESOL/TEFL Teacher Training Certification Course? Would this be acceptable to get a job as an ESL teacher in HK, or is it one of the fly-by-night folks?

I think your bigger problem may e getting a work visa, without one no matter what qualifications you have you cannot work.

I know I can't work in HK without a work visa. What I wanted to know is if the Oxford seminars are a legitimate way to get a TESOL/TEFL certificate. From what I've read getting the certificate would make getting a job and a visa much easier.
