Racist hypocrisy from Fumier and Smog, those utter cads

I just wanted to defend the Flying Pan's food in some way (I don't know about the fry-ups but the variations on eggs benedict are good) but as Beer Boy also mentioned, the staff are all Nepalese anyway, and have been for years.

I have eaten in the Flying Pan a number of times and the only complaint I would have is the price, a bit high for egg and bacon.

Smog is a touch sensitive that Filipino's are possibly being slighted in some way isn't he?
Its sort of cute but sort of colonial too
I hope he never meets Brian Eno's brother Philip, that would flip his lid completely

What does flippers mean in this usage?
[Also I've never heard a local pronounce /fr/ as /fl/. /fy/ seems more likely. Racist and phonologically ignorant!!!]

Actually I never even thought 'Flying Pan' was a play on local pronunciation... they have a frying pan with wings on the wall so I thought it was all about cooking your eggs double quick.
