My local Starbucks has a barista who has taken the "English" name of "Don't". Which is just bizarre. I'm not sure whether it is short for "Do Not" or "Donut".

That used to be a very common name here but most people have changed it now to Sit, which is more how it is pronounced anyway.

Indeed - the FCC has a member of staff whose badge says "Winky", but I recently discovered that her "official" English name is actually "Windy".
I imagine they made her a new name badge after about the first hour!
