How to heal a broken heart?

We were very close, many of my friends were envious of us. I gave up a lot to move to Canada for him, and thought we were so deep in love with each other and would move the relationship to another level. But then, he told me with tears that he knew what I want (a family with him) but he really needed his space and not ready to get married. He couldn't promise me when he would be ready as a large part of him really wanted to do things alone. The only option is I come back in Hong Kong and move on.
I am so devastated about how it's ending. I am so lost now, can any one let me know how to recover from a broken heart? Where can I meet people?

I tried that many times!!!!!! No worry! Forget all the s**ts!! ( I mean your ex-bf!!) He is definately not suit for you. Just be yourself, get more new & good friends. For i.e. Britney!!! Then you will be COOL! : )

Find a relationship based on LOVE, not money, or financial security, or for the sake of simply having a man. Find someone who truly respects you and is your best friend. That's the man for you.
Get through these tough times in any way you can, and be stronger for them.

....You know, when I hear people say find a relationship based on love, I can't help but think.......but that's what got us a 40+% divorce rate in the first place. Forget LOVE, I reckon, go for the money or a man with at least good moving bit.
