confiscations at customs has been going on for ages - especially at Shanghai Pudong..... I got a SPATULA confiscated FFS!

Ok, so I admit it looks a bit like a knife - but it's blunt and flimsy.....what was I going to do? Bludgeon or smooth someone to death with it? Or perhaps I was going to spend an hour in the toilets sharpening it in the floor tiles???

to be, or not to be, what was the question?

that should be confiscated on the grounds of being daft.

Sabrina, don't just stare at it. Eat it.

I suppose it is a bit daft! Don't u carry a spatula at all times? Actually, I get away quite lightly with confiscations at scareports...If I were customs, I'd stop me and check everything every time....a small part of usual bag contents are:

Her mouth is a weapon of pain and torture

I carry similar stuff Jay but it's the fine white ceramic opacifiers that cause most fun with customs.......

LT - thankfully all my powdery stuff is mixed into liquids before I zott-off anywhere....

BB - wish they'd confiscate my strife also...if u have any luck, let me know which airport....I'll immediately plan the 'trip of a lifetime' - as for LT's powdery stuff, I was wondering why me lips were going numb after my post-lunch coffee today.....bottom of cup has LT Ceramics (SZ) Ltd printed on it....

Or heavy petting sessions in Central East?

.
The problem with instant gratification is that it takes too bloody long...

Fundy - of course! Didn't you know that these protective suits are essential when petting 'chickens' anywhere?

The 'issue' is confused??? More like the people creating the 'issue'!

Cheers LT - will have a gander at the China Visa Blog.

Last week I applied at the China Visa Office for a multi visa so I could see bus uncle, but I was only offered a two visit visa.

I didn't bother handing over my cash because it will take time (I would say about 2 more weeks) for them to wake up and ok a more workable system.

I would put all business plans that need a physical visit on holding pattern until 1st of May.

Wonder if the cross-border tunnel (drainage) network is still running?

On second thoughts, you'd get into SZ, then almost immediately end up in an SZ hospital with Hep or summat!
