Nice clean beaches! Wow, makes a change from HK yesterday when a bus load of mainland tourists dropped all their rubbish on Repulse Bay Beach and then buggered off, eh?

According to Daily 10 (the 'junior' newspaper targeted at schoolkids, which my girls get), there is a mass of rubbish floating in the Pacific (I think) which is bigger than the whole of the US. One-fifth of all that waste comes from cruise liners.

I'm not surprised, but these people actually just left a load of plastic bags and bottles right where they had been sitting, got up and left. Its not like there aren't any bins on the beach.
