nearest one west malaysia side is Port Dickson, but not that nice...
nearest one north is probably Batu Ferringhi on Penang, ok... but weather can be iffy
best bet is Terrenganu on east coast

The Port Dickson seems closer.

No that nice means ... similar as Repluse Bay in HK ? Or a bit better like Saigong ? 1 hr by car can do ?

Or better stay at the pool ?

I recall Lola is an expert on KL and can prolly give great advice.

Sort of LKF-ish. Lots of restos and bars.

For a bit of old colonial and nice cool temp, the Cameron Highlands is nice. Bit of a drive, but very pleasant place.

If it's beaches you want and you're prepared to undertake a 3-hour journey, then you might as well head out to one of the islands e.g. Tioman, Pangkor (Pangkor Laut is very exclusive & upmarket), Langkawi, Perhentian, Kapas, etc etc.

Heritage Row is more like LKF, and you'd love it as it's full of pretentious twats who also have the same aversion to drunk fat gweilos as you do

Bangsar (NOT BENGSAR) is populated by fat gweilos who are having a good time, especially at Telawi Street Bistro (upstairs), not really your scene

If its something like Dust til down, I'll enjoy it. But if it's like Fenwick, then no matters they are fat or thin, wont be my sense

Get it ?

Natasha - not like Fenwick at all... (I mean, not what I've been told Fenwick is like)

No it didn't. I know who it was directed at.

Was just my attempt at humor.
