As BB reminded me.

There are many many countries now - too many and some called Stan. But when we were kids there were far less countries and they were much bigger and on the whole easier to pick out on a map. As far as I can remember there was:

Great Britain
France
West Germany
The Other Germany
Spain
America The US
Brazil
Australia
The Soviet Onion
Africa
India



I think that was it.

I'm sorry puyi but I think HKBloke is right - there was an Italy. As for those you mentioned I'm afraid you must be mistaken.

No there wasn't much in the way of scando fare - I think it was all just called Sweden but I'm not sure. Belgium? Canada? your childhood must have been a little later than mine......
