T'was brought to my attention the other day that adverts for the latest over priced Great Hong Kong Rabbit Hutch contained images of football stadiums that don't exist. Well a blog site has discussed pretty much what Little Fock was telling me...

http://www.ordinarygweilo.com/

As you'll all know Fotan is a wonderful and scenic area where one would just love to raise a family or even retire to but - this type of advertising isn't funny - it's just f**king lying. I had an estate agent trying to sell me one of the habitation cubes at this new battery farm on Sunday - totally bemused look on his face when I asked about the football stadium - well if it isn't true - can I sue?

Everything that's wrong with he adverts for resident pods...

(Oh my f**king sides....)

Oh god it's toe curling... and people buy into that Rennaisance w**k

How about preserving some of your own culture, old buildings and heritage instead of building great big shiny overpriced gold tat which is meant to look and feel like your in Rome ????

Remember the brouhaha over "Bel-Air on the Peak" (which, quite logically, is in Cyberport ~ aka Zombietown) a few years ago? All the ads were shot at some lavish mansion in the south of France with sweeping views over the ocean etc etc.

When queried about the lack of connect to the overpriced hutches being flogged in HK, the property developer said: "The ads are intended to convey the feeling and impression of living in Bel-Air on the Peak, not provide an actual depiction of the properties."

I'm rather taken with making up my own curses these days. Currently, the phrase du jour (intended to convey my inclination to sweeping statements of epic grandeur, not signal any geniune linguistic ability) is "sweaty hairy monkey b*llocks".

ah yes, that monstrosity that I'm sure is part of the reason why I have such a bad nose allergy!

Just as a matter of interest, in October when I first saw it from my roof, it was about 6 storeys high. Now, it's past 50!

I can officially state that the larger of the Stadiums, pictured in the artists impression of La Palazzo is NOT a football ground, but is ackshully a Rugby Ground. As at both ends there stands a set of rugby posts.

So just when did Fo Tan become HK's new rugby mecca???

and after all the lies about the grandeur of the place... selling it on the back of somewhere akin to the Palais de Versailles... the price will probably be a lie as well.....

Oh that goes without saying... that 4M will be the ground floor at the back overlooking the aircon compressors

my reality is the Sino / MTR ads for La Palazzo... I ackshully do believe that Fo Tan is like that, and not the crowded warehouse strewn s**t hole it looks like at first glance

I love it here, living in a village house. Very quiet, very safe. Don't fancy living in a palace
