Kiedis got stoned first time when 11 - and it went steep downhill from there. He broke his back jumping out of a flat window on the 3rd floor and missing the pool, just. How he survived everything is truly fascinating (to me).
I thought it was a well written book, bringing up plenty of smiles and the occasional tear (when he describes the death of Hillel, e.g.)
He's as rock 'n roll as anyone
