Ooops. Although I have to say that on the couple of occasions I've had kebabs from there I've been distinctly underwhelmed even when sufficiently well lubricated that I wouldn't normally care. So no great loss. Or maybe I've just got too used to Ebenezer's.

The smael from that place always used to put me off, but them I'm not one to chow on a kebab anyway

Indeed Ebenezer's kebabs every time - was it one of those Istanbul Kebab shops cos they is trash.

It is/was called Beirut or some variant spelling of that.
The best kebabs that I have had here were in the place called Sonthra's in Lockhart Road which got turned into the second Wanchai Ebenezer's a few months back. That was a shame.

Regardless of the quality of their food, I kind of appreciate a mom-and-pop shop of such which makes HK.....well, HK

kebab's weren't great but many of other dishes were fantastic.

passed by at 5 am, just before closing and showed them how to do a REAL KEBAB, no fooking gas fire, but real wood fire!
