I think you have 10 more days holidays than we have... I feel cheated.
Still the weather is so nice at the moment that around 700,000 people are calling in sick so they can enjoy the sun.

Jess.. buuuuuuut the UK has better annual holiday allowance which actually balances out.. also means you don't have to travel with all the hordes on public hoidays and get to pick when you want to holiday

HK has 16 public holidays, of which about 3 normally fall on a Saturday. UK has 8, so you need 5 more days annual leave in the UK than in HK to be square.

With most UK comapnies you get at least 21 days when you start building to over 30 with some companies

True I wouldn't want to be on a local package in HK, however on an expat package with around 25 days hols plus the bank holidays, that would be nice.
Better even is a friend of mine who works at BNP in Paris, she gets 43 days! (35 hours week legislation, because she works 40 hours a week she gets the extra time as holidays)
